Last year we took advantage of Smithsonian magazine’s “Museum Day<\/a>” to visit the Mayslake Peabody Estate<\/a> for free. There are many participating locations but only a few of the very well known “Museums” participate.<\/p>\n

Maricel and I like to take the opportunity to visit a lesser known location that we might not otherwise attend and Mayslake seemed like a good option. We had seen across the lake and wondered what could be over there.<\/p>\n
